As he was tying his shoes, Rito looked fearful. "Lala, wait! What does it-Gah!"
While the blast lasted for a few seconds, he was covered in some soot and twitched for a little bit
"I call it the Change-change Species-kun! I was inspired by a series named Rosario+Vampire and decided to give you some Devilukean traits, like being stronger and more durable! I used my DNA for it, but we aren't related, though!" Lala said with a smile.
"Great..." Rito muttered before he wiped the soot off. "I don't feel different..."
Lala rubbed her chin in thought. "Huh... I guess it might take a little bit."
She then took out a badge. "Here. Take the Check-Check Heath-kun. It'll let me monitor the changes. If something goes wrong, I can change you back. I do have some of your full-human DNA for it."
Rito carefully put the badge on, fearful it might backfire as well.
Little did Lala know, Rito did inherit the Devilukean durability trait, but not the Strength enchancement trait. He also grew a devil tail that was supersensitive to touches. But because Lala's mom was a Charmian, Rito also inherited certain traits from her, namely, the Lust inducement trait, where anyone or anything of the opposite gender who sees his face would go mad with lust for him.
Rito was shocked when he grew the tail, which Mio and Risa did grab and grope. They giggled at his moans, but also told the others that if they bullied Rito for or with it, there would be hell to pay.
After that and when school ended, Rito had classroom-cleaning duties. Due to a mixup, he was working alone.
Pity that the Lust-inducement trait kicked in at that point.
"Rito-Kun, do you want any help?" A voice asked.
Rito turned, smiled, and said, "I'd be happy to have some help."
