When you neared the castle you knocked. After a few moments, a Toad opened the door. Not recognizing you, he had a blank look on his face and asked, “And you are?”
You took a deep breath before answering, “I am Y/N. I am from a world where… well, all of this was in a few video games and video game series. A faceless voice said I was to come here to help.”
“Huh… I’ll have to let Princess Peach and one of the Princess Zeldas know. They’ll let Master Hand and Crazy Hand know,” The Toad replied. “They’ll probably put you in something easy, maybe working under Cooking Mama.”
You nodded, “Even the smallest step can be a world of difference.”
The Toad smiled at you before gesturing to you to follow him.

As the Toad (who you learned was named Ross) predicted, you were put under Cooking Mama's watch for the time being.
The hands and the princesses were surprised to meet you and even knew that you were from the Real World, but had some knowledge of who the voice was. They asked that you keep you from the real world a secret. Not many Video Game characters would understand or take it well.
Cooking Mama was nice enough to teach you many new dishes. Some from the real world, others from Video game worlds.
Making meals took pretty much all day. Luckily, the Toads, Shyguys, and all other beings were there to help you out with that, as well as some secret combat training. You doubted you'd be able to fight any of the big name fighters, but you felt like you could fight either the Small Fry Corps or the standard video game mooks.
You were very pleased to receive compliments about your cooking. Cooking Mama claimed it was your love and enthusiasm that made it excellent. Then again, you were in a land of people who were the stars of your childhood and thus spent most days with a smile on your face. Love and enthusiasm was rather easy for you to produce.
There were a lot of people who came and went from The Smash Bros tournaments. Heroes, Villains, and Civilians. Even ones from other consoles, like Playstation and XBox. All were welcome as long as they obeyed the rules... or at least avoided being caught breaking them.
During your breaks and days off, you were polite to everyone. Bad guy characters like Bowser were nice when not acting in character. Ganondorf was quite cultured and a great source of knowledge if one needed tips to survive in any of the video game wilds. Mario was nice, but a tiny bit thick at times. Link tended to be the silent type, but helpful, no matter the version of him.
Eventually, one lady decided to give you a reward for being such a good cook and a nice person. They waited in a hiding spot until you got off your shift and popped out, giving you a quick peck on the cheek.
A powerful shiver of pleasure ran throughout her body. She licked her lips as you looked at her in surprise.
“What? You made such good food that I wanted to reward you. I enjoyed giving you that brief kiss so much, I might as well give you a deep one,” the woman said before she grabbed you by your shoulders and kissed you on the lips, her tongue darted into your mouth and began to wrestle with your tongue.
As you struggled to free yourself, the lady pondered if she should tell the others that kissing you was fun and delicious or if she should keep it a secret
