As she looked down the aisles, Amy's gaze was instantly drawn to a strange amulet. At first glance, the amulet seemed harmless; a simple silver chain ending in a pendant designed to accommodate a photo inside. However, the mechanism was locked, and its contents remained a mystery. There was a note on the back, engraved into the metal:

Here lies imprisoned the witch Cassandre. Anyone who wears this pendant will gains the power to send, with a simple kiss, a copy of his mind into the body of another’s, merging the two spirits together. Anyone transformed this way will also gain the same power. The bearer will also be able to possess other, entering their body to control it directly. But beware. If the pendant is opened, Cassandre’s mind shall enter the body of the first one to lay eyes on her picture and merge with his mind until they become one. They will then go forth and find new victims and Cassandre coven of witches will rise one more.

After having read the inscription with curiosity, Amy chooses to take it without really believing in what was written there. Only a Halloween ghost story, she taught. But the neckless was quite pretty. She then continued to look for a costume and ended up choosing a simple witch costume to go with the pendant. With her purchases in hand, Amy paid at the counter before going back home; not realizing what she really had in her hands: The dangers that awaited her and everybody else if the pendant fell into the wrong hands ...
