The house does a quick scan to see if you're okay.

As you stand at the window, watching the intruder being taken away in a police car, you hear the door unlock again. You were now free to leave. Before you can do so, however, you hear the house's voice again. "Exiting lock down mode. Running diagnostic scan."

You nodded to yourself. Of course your mother would have programmed in a function like that. After someone breaks into the house, it had to make sure they hadn't done any damage, and that everyone inside was still okay. You figure it will only complicate things if you move about the house while it is scanning, you to stay still by the window, waiting for the house to confirm its scan had completed.

"Scan complete. No errors detected," you hear the house say after a few moments, leaving you to breath a sigh of relief. Despite your mother being a genius, you hadn't really inherited her smarts, at least to the extent that you'd be able to do anything about computer glitches in her programming. If one occurred, you'd be stuck living with the results until your mother and sisters came back from Paris. Despite the scan finishing, you stay still while you await the rest of the results.

"Minor cosmetic damage to living room, sending maid to correct." That was also understandable. After all, the house had just been broken into, and though the house probably tried to restrain him, the intruder had probably knocked over a few things while trying to struggle against the house and the police. Nothing your mother's maid robots couldn't sort out. Next came the report on the occupants. Seeing as the intruder had been removed, and your mother and sisters were away, you were expecting to hear back "One occupant found; Austin. Status: Healthy." You just had to wait and listen for it to actually say it.
