"You know Matt" said the Congresswoman looking in a wolfish manner at her abused intern. "I find it suspicious that we received a gift from Congressman Graham given that all he does is normally try to sabotage my office and the bills that we put forward on the House floor. In fact-I've heard rumor that there is some kind of plot by him and other Republican Congress members to plant a spy in this office to bring me down!" she exclaimed.
"But, Ms. Cortez" Matt interjected "You've personally interviewed and verified every member of your staff including myself-surely you are not implying that one of us could be the guilty party?"
She snickered and got up from her chair walking over to a cabinet behind her desk. "Of course not, Matt" she laughed "I know my staff is loyal-most of all yourself. In fact, I know that you devoted your whole life to this job when you moved from the shithole town that you're from to work here. I also know that you live alone in your tiny apartment here and nobody except myself would know if something were to happen to you. It would almost be like you disappeared from this world entirely" she said giving an especially insidious sneer to her intern.
She then opened the cabinet to reveal a very familiar looking machine inside it. When you laid eyes on it-you froze in fear realizing exactly what the machine was. Matt, however, was completely oblivious and stood up and walked over to it. "Uh-ok-what's this-and what does this have to do Republicans efforts to sabotage us" he asked.
She grinned at him and said "This, my friend, is a shrinking machine-it can, in only a matter of minutes, shrink a person to say the size of potato chip or a piece of candy" she said licking her lips a little as she explained it to him. "I have it on good authority that Republicans have used this machine to implant a tiny spy somewhere in this building-perhaps, even in this very ROOM." she exclaimed creating a sonic boom to your tiny terrified ears.
"Really-that unbelievable! Matt yelled but then paused and said "So-wait-why do you have this machine here then"
"Why to show our enemy that we can play their game just as well as they can" she said and then looked intently at Matt "AND-to show give them a demonstration of what will happen to that spy when I uncover him/her"
With that said, she slammed a large black button on top of the machine shooting a weird purple light at Matt and in a matter of seconds he had shrank to your minuscule size and landed, completely naked-on Cortez's desk.
The young Congresswoman walked over and sat down at the desk picking up her tiny, helpless intern into her hand and then burst at laughing saying to him...
