If there was one thing that truly angered Reyes, it was this incorporeal form he was subjected to. Sure, it had some minor benefits, but he'd prefer a real body again any day. One that didn't force him to live as a literal shadow half the time. It was a thought that often crossed his mind, and continued to do so as he got off the escape ship with something he had picked up on his last solo run, a strange old wooden stick, one that he almost felt called to him. As he got off, he was greeted by his Talon co-horts, namely Amélie and Olivia, codenames Widowmaker and Sombra. They annoyed him, as most tended to. Widowmaker never said much, but Sombra droned on about things, and he didn't care for her attitude either.
"Watcha got there? Snag something on your little away trip, Reaper?" Sombra asked him in a mocking tone. "None of your business." He responded, gruff and impatiently. "Ooooo~ How scary~" She continued to mock, to Reaper's continued groans. "I trust zat your mission was a success then, oui?" Widowmaker asked him, much more curt and to the point. "Yes, nothing else to report." He chose to end the questioning then and there, he had no patience for either of them right now.
Widowmaker simply turned to walk away, as cold and calculated as ever. Sombra simply shrugged and threw her arms behind her head to follow the other woman out. Reyes felt a twinge of jealousy as they started to leave, they were both essentially super soldiers, much like he was, but they seemed much better off for it than he was, and that didn't sit right with him. He should have what they had, he'd at least feel somewhat human again otherwise.
Almost as if in response to his desire, the wand in his hand reacted...
