This choice: Holly, a 17 year old high school student who is able to shrink or grow at will • Go Back...Chapter #4Holly, 17 and can shrink and grow at will by: DougTF   Holly is a decently pretty teen girl, in her senior year at a public high school. She has a blended schedule and can do remote learning many days, which is good since last summer she kinda developed a bit of an odd situation. Ever since superheroes started being a real thing, she and her classmates thought it was soo cool. But on vacation overseas with her aunt, they wound up getting caught in the middle of a super villain's attempted robbery of some crazy nanotech stuff, and while a superhero stopped the villain, the container of nanites broke open all over her aunt and her. At first, the heroes thought the nanites had completely destroyed the two innocent bystanders, but not hardly. They simply disassembled both of them and reassembled them at a sub-cellular size. Needless to say, Holly and her aunt freaked out, but the nanites wound up imprinting them, and both of them were able to reassemble themselves back at normal size a few days later. Now, both women have the ability to disassemble and reassemble themselves at various scales, able to shrink to microscopic sizes and even enlarge to be giantess sized, like almost 50 feet tall! Her aunt wanted none of it, and the superhero organization was able to disable her nanites, leaving her pretty much her normal size, but Holly found it amazing, and asked if she could keep this ability. She had to sign some waivers, and got an early admission into a sorta super hero college, but had to finish her senior year. But, a faked doctor's note from the trauma of the attack made it so she could do virtual learning, for those days when she was too small to attend.
Today was a virtual day, using her phone to log into class, but in reality she had gone to school anyway. But at a size of less than 1 cm, no one would notice her, but she explored around, hitching rides, and with her phone that was designed to shrink with her, she was able to do her classwork. Being this small meant she was stuck tiny for several hours as growing took a while to recharge the nanites to reform her, though she could shrink further easily enough if she was in danger of either being seen or harmed. As a 1 cm speck of a girl, she was barely visible, and could be smashed, but a quick shrink it cellular size rendered her pretty much invincible to the macro world, though it was crazy and disorienting in the microscopic realm. She had come to school because she was bored and wanted to explore her familiar halls but at her new and very reduced size. So, she decides to:   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
