"Emma, this demon of the night, held a great weakness to garlic." The story read.
"Garlic, huh?" Emma asked herself, still completely unaware of her own change. "How cliche."
"Despite all of her incredible vampiric powers, Emma's weakness to garlic was astounding." The book continued. "For every time Emma came into contact with the plant, it would cause swelling. Enough garlic, and Emma would be completely immobilized."
"Swelling?" Emma asked, confused. "Immobilized? ...crap, this is some weird fetish story, isn't it? Yeah, I think I'm done reading." On that, Emma shut the book, and put it on the table.
"OK, looks like Stacy's not here. Might as well try somewhere else." Emma said to herself before leaving the library.
As she walked through the upstairs hall, Emma passed by a mirror, and out of the corner of her eye, she noticed it. And also noticed that she completely lacked a reflection. She stopped to look at the mirror.
"OK, that's weird." Emma muttered. "This some kind of trick mirror?" Though as she said that, the story popped into her head again. Curious, she brought a hand to her mouth, and poked one of her front teeth... and felt a sharp fang. She placed her hand over her chest, and realized her skin was ice cold.
"Wait... no. NO! HOLY SHIT, AM I A VAMPIRE?!" Emma yelled. "Did that... did that book turn me into a vampre? How?" Her thoughts were interrupted by a smell coming from below here. Looking down, she saw, to her confusion, a clove of garlic.
"Uh..." Emma muttered. But then she felt a weird tingle in her...
