"Well...it does seem like the most likely place where she could have gone." Carrie said with a gulp as she slowly headed into the forest. She looked left and right and saw nothing but complete and total darkness at every corner, not even a single light would shine through.
"Okay...maybe this wasn't my best choice." Carrie said to herself as she continued in further into the deep darkness of the woods. She wanted to turn back a few times but realized once she was a good portion of the way in there was no light to follow the trail back. So she started running down the trail as she looked around for the best way out of the woods.
After what seemed like forever ago, she stopped to take a breather right there in the middle of the path. "Well...that's it. I'm gonna end up having to live out here in the woods like a..." she said before seeing a light at the end of the path. "Light! Finally!" she said following after the light as best she could.
