Try to Cross the River

You felt curious about what was on the other side of the river. You left the bush and went over to the water. It looked very, very wide from your tiny perspective, and it would be challenging to swim across. But you weren’t sure if you could make any sort of boat using the materials around you, so swimming was your best option. You were a decent swimmer, so it may not be a terrible idea. Also, since your clothes didn’t shrink with you, they wouldn’t get wet and bog you down, which may make it a bit easier to swim.

So, you ran into the water and began swimming. The water was a bit cold, but you could handle it. However, as you swam farther away from shore, the current picked up, and you began to get swept to the side. You tried swimming towards the opposite side, but the current shook you around and tried to drag you under. You realized it was a bad idea to try swimming like this—you should’ve just stayed on the shore. But it was too late now, and you were struggling to stay afloat...
