You refused to be a pet to a Pokemon—that was way too demeaning. You figured it would be a good idea to keep arguing against Weavile, and try to convince her to either help you return to normal size, or at least give you some more respect. And if she still refused to listen, and forced you to become her pet, you’d try escaping from her ASAP.
“I swear I’m not a trainer,” you said calmly. “Go check my bag, and my clothes. There aren’t any Poke Balls, or any items for Pokemon—no potions or anything like that.”
Weavile hesitated, but sighed and went over, doing as you asked. She carried you with her, and used her free hand to dig through your bag and your pile of clothes that didn’t shrink with you. Sure enough, there weren’t any Pokemon-related items among your possessions.
“See?” you asked. “Like I said, I’m not a trainer. I’ve never owned a Pokemon. And if I was normal size, I wouldn’t try to catch you and own you.”
Weavile bit her lip and glanced away from you. She was clearly a bit embarrassed at being proven wrong. But would that be enough to convince her to be nicer to you and not treat you like a pet?
