Chapter #3

Property of the Weavile

    by: Unknown
The smirk on the Weavile's face didn't linger for too long as she soon replaced it with a friendlier smile.

"Alright. I'll help you," she said you, who were left positively surprised. Whoever said Weavile were cruel? 'Cause this one was pretty nice to you.

"That's awfully nice of y-"

The giantess rose a claw, interrupting you,

"Hold your Rapidash." she said, retrieving her smirk,
"I'll help you alright. I guess I'll keep you around..."

Your relief faded.

"What!?" you exclaimed. Perhaps that rumor about Weavile being cruel wasn't so fake after all...
"I thought you were going to help me for real!"

"And I am, you silly idiot!" she retorted,
"I could've just eaten you, ya know! I'm doing you a favor!"

You didn't see it that way, and tried to oppose.

"I... I don't... I can't..." you mouthed incoherently.

Weavile huffed, having had enough of your complaining.

"Look," she said,
"If you don't want my help, then I guess the alternative is still valid..."

For some reason, her fangs seemed to shine at the mention, causing you to gulp.

Was this Weavile really threatening you into agreeing?

"Well?"

"Yeah, help sounds nice right now." you sarcastically replied, getting the Weavile to smirk.

"Great. Welcome on board, human!" she said, grinning mischievously,
"I'm sure you and I are gonna get alone just fine, even if you're a bit of a dope."

You tried to smile at her words, but all you could manage was a forced smile that didn't really look so convincing.

However, Weavile didn't seem to notice. And, if she noticed, she ignored it.

"Well then, let's get outta here, before the others find me. Wouldn't want them mistaking you for food. Will I be damned if those incompetent Sneasel eat you instead of me." she said, sending shivers running down your back as she began walking.

"Wait." you stopped her, pointing to your bag,
"Please, bring that. There's stuff I'm going to need inside, if you're going to k-k-" you couldn't bring yourself to say it. It took a huge effort to,
"... Keep me."

Weavile looked at the bag, then groaned.

"Sorry, but I gotta go hunt. That thing would only slow me down." she bluntly replied.

"Aw, come on!... Er, I mean, please!" you said, causing the giantess to huff.

"I know you from five minutes and you're already being a pain in my..." she murmured the last part, before saying,
"Fine. Guess it can help me carry you."

"That's a great idea!" you agreed.

Weavile nodded, before lowering the claw you were on inside of one of the empty pockets of your camping bag, securing you inside.

"Happy now?" she said, somewhat annoyed, before adding,
"I'll be hunting for the next hour or so, so... I don't know, think 'bout life or something."

What kind of suggestion was that?

The pocket you were in was closed, before its insides shook as Weavile scooped up the bag and slid it over her shoulders, feeling it heavy on her back, though not that much.

With a sigh, she moved over to a nearby tree, surprised to see that, despite the weight, her speed was pretty much the same.

As for you, feeling your world shaking, you sighed.

This was going to be a long night...

--

You were left trapped in a dark corner of your bag for who knew how long, presumably hours, with the surroundings constantly shaking, tossing you back and forth with the confines of the pocket.

This was not what you had imagined, but you supposed it was better than riding on Weavile's claws, where you would have surely been sliced in half.

The thought was grim enough that you were glad to be in this shaky pocket right now.

Time drew on without a word from your new 'caretaker'. You couldn't even think straight, because you couldn't keep your focus for more than two seconds before a strong motion threw you to another corner of the bag.

But then, it all eventually came to an end.

You felt your lone pocket stopping, before the opening above you opened and light peered in, before it got eclipsed by Weavile's grinning face.

"Sorry about that," she apologized,
"But hunting requires focus. I couldn't talk to you."

"That's okay." you replied as you came out of your own bag, immediately taking notice that the Weavile's claws were covered in what appeared to be-

You looked away, pitying the poor creature that was no longer among the living.

Then, you realized that you were hungry as well.

"Hey, can you do me a favor?" you asked.

"Hm?"

"There's a few snacks in my bag. Can you get them for me? I'm starving." you told.

"Oh. Sure, I guess." she replied, kneeling to open up your bag... at least to try to, because she couldn't figure out how to zip it open.

"Darn thing..." you heard her muttering, before she finally had enough and slashed the upper part of the bag, ripping it open and digging inside, while you watched in silence. If this was the way she treated stuff, then you pitied yourself for how she was going to treat you.

--

After eating your fill, you turned to the dark-type, attempting to strike up a casual conversation,

"So... guess I'm staying then." you said.

Weavile nodded her head.

You looked down a moment, before asking her,

"Why, anyway?"

Weavile began snickering.

"Dude, you're a little human! How many Pokemon can say they got their own shrunken person? How cool is that?" she replied.

You began tapping your fingertips on the floor of the cavern Weavile had brought you in.

"... Wait, 'theirs'? You mean I'm..."

Weavile nodded her head with one, eager motion, excited at the idea, while you weren't really sure you liked to be considered her property. The way things were going, it was pretty clear that you were 'hers'. Her belonging.

The thought was a pretty hard one.

You looked back at the giantess.

"So, what am I to you?" you asked, before noticing her staring at you, perplexed, and adding,
"Like, a pet or... I dunno..."

"Ah. Didn't think about that..." she admitted, before falling into thought, letting the silence fall as well.

You kept staring at her, until she looked back at you and said,

You have the following choices:

1. "Let's just be... friends."

*Noteb*
2. "Guess I've always wanted a pet..."

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
