Back in the hallway, you pressedthe transmitter hidden on your onesie. Agent Jones would be on her way to pick you up. Then you could tell her what you know, and a team would come in and bust Lily's illegal operation.
You went back to the main area of the daycare and waited.
After about fifteen minutes you saw Agent Jones enter. She picked you up and signed you out of the daycare.
As you walked back out to the car, with you on her hip, you started to tell Jones what you saw.
"Let's get back to HQ and tell them what we know."
You arrived at the car, where you expected to ride shotgun, not longer needing to keep your cover. Instead, Agent Jones started to strap you into a carseat.
"What are you doing?"
"Just making sure my lil guy is all nice and safe," Jones replied, smiling down at you.
"Agent Jones, the mission is over. We don't need to keep our cover."
"Oh, but the mission isn't over."
"Yeah it is. I know everything everything need to."
"HQ doesn't know that. They still think you're at work in the daycare. And they won't expect to hear anything for at least a few more hours, so it'll be a while until they realize what happened."
"What?"
You were confused and slightly uneasy.
"That you and I have disappeared. But don't worry, Mommy Michelle will take good care of you."
Mommy? You were starting to put the pieces together. Michelle (Agent Jones) played the mother part so well because she was actually baby-crazy, so much that she was willing to kidnap you to have one!
You reached for your transmitter to call HQ for help, but found it gone. You found it in Michelle's hand.
"Looking for this?" She said as she crushed the tiny device easily.
Then she smiled, pinching your cheek as she finished tying you down in the car seat.
"My little Jamesie is so cute!" She said with a giggle.
"Agent Jones! Michelle, let me go!"
"Uh uh uh, baby," Michelle replied, wagging her finger at you, "That's mommy to you."
Then Michelle popped a pacifier into your mouth, tying it around your head so you couldn't spit it out, and hopped in the front seat. She started the car and drove off.
