"Today we we'll play - or rather as a starter - the Mannequin Challenge." Erin made a face while Layla and Alex looked confused. "The what?" blurted the youngest girl in the room. A stern look from Amy made her shut her mouth. "The Mannequin Challenge, or for the little kids, the Freeze-InPlace-Game." "I like that, I like that" Layla shouted again, hoping to gain points by being obviously eager. The word "punishment" from earlier still tingled in her ears.
"Now here is how we play this game. You clean up the room." The three siblings groaned briefly. "You won't have to clean up for long. When I shout "Mannequin" you must immediately freeze in place and stay completely still. No sound. Like those human size dolls in the shopping center windows. I will tickle each one of you for twenty seconds. If you manage to remain quiet and do not move, then the game proceeds. If not, you lose. Losers will get a punishment though. You have one shot free." Amy smiled and expected to be regarded as gracious for this perk.
"But it would be unfair if you tickle one of us soft and the other one hard." Alex sensed that this was not a fair game. Amy nodded. She had expected this. "Sure. I will use the same instrument in each round. We will start with this." She opened a little case next to her, held the lid that the siblings could not see what else was hidden in the case, and presented a firm white feather. "Oooooow so beautiful" Layla left the line and went to admire the feather. Amy smiled. "Let's play then."
