Janet called the family together and they all gathered in the living room.
"Hey, what's going on?" asked Alan as he sat down on the couch.
"I think we need to talk about our situation," said Janet, scratching her bald spot.
"What situation?" asked Megan, plopping down and sitting with her legs spread open.
Janet explained to the family that due to a strange twist of fate, they had all woken up in each other's bodies.
Steven stood behind the sofa, his face a mixture of shock and disbelief. "You mean I'm Megan now?"
"Yes, that's right," said Janet, trying to remain calm. "And Alan is me, and I am Steven."
Steven shook his head in disbelief. "This can't be happening. How are we going to fix this?"
"I don't know, Steven," said Janet. "But for now, we need to try and adjust to our new roles."
Steven's face turned red. "I'm not sleeping in my daughter's bed," he said.
"Steven, you need to be reasonable," said Janet. "We need to get used to our new roles until we can sort this all out."
Alan chimed in, "Yeah, I think it makes sense. We should at least try to make the best of the situation."
Steven reluctantly agreed and stormed off upstairs.
As they all got ready for bed, they struggled to adapt to their new bodies and roles. Janet put on Steven's property of Steelers shirt, while Alan squeezed into her pink, lacy pajamas.
The next morning, Alan woke up and instinctively put on Janet's robe and slippers. He went downstairs and started making breakfast for the family, just as Janet always did.
Megan and Steven soon joined him in the kitchen, still struggling to adjust to their new roles. Megan tried to put on a brave face, but Steven was visibly uncomfortable.
"I can't believe I'm doing this," said Steven, gesturing to his makeup and clothes.
"I know it's tough, Dad," said Megan, patting him on the back. "But we'll get through this together."
