You open the brochure to the establishment that apparently lay just beyond the edge of the resort's property. They advised not to visit, but it was welcoming to any guests from the resort that might want a change from normal. You decided that a tourist trap like that was just what you needed to get your mind right, so you headed out the hotel room and rode the elevator down to the main lobby.
You walked under the large chandelier, past a woman with two heads, one of which had hair made of snakes, before making your way to the back door, towards the trail which the pamphlet advised you to take. Walking out the door, you caught a breath of the fresh air, inhaling as you walked past a butterfly with the face of a man. Strange, you thought before walking further down the path.
The concrete path changed to gravel as you left the premises of the resort, and saw a large hill with a Victorian Era mansion resting atop the grassy knoll. There were large oak trees surrounding the path which you would have claimed to 'brave' if it weren't sunny outside on the island. Gas lamps lit the areas shaded by the branches as you trekked the steep hill, eventually making your way to the porch.
The door had a plaque next to it telling you to enter freely, which you did, before making your way into the main lobby of the gigantic mansion. It was old, and dimly lit except for the candles on the wall. You looked down into the large waiting area to see that there
