This choice: He wants to keep her small to play • Go Back...Chapter #6Playing with dolls(ized Mothers) by: Kooplan "No." Morgan said, disappointment evident with his tone.
"What..?" Robin gasped in shock at her son's disobedience.
"I said I couldn't beat you at your normal size. That's why I had to shrink you!" Morgan explained. "That was only the beginning of the game, now you have to play the rest of it!"
"No, Morgan! This farce has gone on long enough! I'm telling you to restore my size this instance!" Robin squeaked. She put her little foot down to show her seriousness.
"I will! I will..! Eventually..!" Morgan told her, hushing her with his hands as he tried to calm his Mother down to ease her into his games.
"No, Morgan! Not 'eventaully', right now!" Robin shouted, now becoming upset.
"Hold on.." Morgan sighed and shook his head.
Here he had his genius Mother reduced to the size of a doll, but she still insisted on acting like she was the one in control. He ignored her pleas for her return to normal height, and went over to a table nearby and placed the spellbook on top of it. He examined the table, book, and rest of the room carefully. But something was missing, he didn't see his mother anywhere! Morgan worried and walked back to where he left his doll-sized mother without thinking, but before he could make the first step he heard a tiny squeak of fear.
"Morgan, no!" The tiny female voice yelled.
Morgan looked down and saw his tiny mother under his foot, she'd fallen to the floor from fear of being stepped on, and looked up at him with worry. He gasped at almost having stepped on his little mom.
"Whoa, there you are! You need to be careful at that size, mother!" Morgan scolded her, wagging his finger at her. Robin scoffed at this latest insolence from her son, despite his actions he did sound genuinely worried about her safety at this size, though he wasn't willing to help her by growing her back to normal. Morgan then gently placed his hand down in front of her, holding it open and flat.
"Get on so we we can get on to the first challenge!" Morgan told her.
"Morgan, please. This has gone on long enough!" Robin insisted. She took a step away from her son. Morgan again sighed at her unwillingness to comply. So instead of waiting for her to come to him, he gently inched his hand closer to the retreating shrunken woman and scooped her into it.
"Morgaannn!" Robin cried as she lifted off the floor. Even though Morgan was moving slowly, it was still a rush for the six-inch tall woman.
"Wow, you're light!" Morgan exclaimed in wonder. He waited a moment for Robin to get settled in his hand.
"You shouldn't grab people without their permission!" Robin scolded her boy, finally finding her footing on the big fleshy seat.
"So, Mother, let me explain..." Morgan told her, again ignoring her plight. He carried her over to the table where he put the spellbook. "For our first test, I'm going to have you try and reach this spellbook."
"Somehow I doubt you'd make it easy for me?" Robin asked.
"Sorry." Morgan laughed. He then gently set his tiny mom back on the floor. "You can use anything in this room to get there, but you only have 10 minutes to make it, okay?"
"What if I win?" Robin asked, her arms folded.
"Then you get to play the next 6 inch game." Morgan told her ominously.
"6 inch game?" Robin asked. She thought about what he meant by that. "Oh no, Morgan! You're not telling me that if I lose I shrink again are you?"
"Heheheh, yep, again, sorry." Morgan playfully explained. "If you lose, you shrink, then you'll have to play another kind of game. But don't worry! I might change things up later."
"How many games do you have in mind?" Robin hesitantly asked, worried to hear his response. If this went on for too long, she might just be kept shrunk all day!
"Don't worry, I've got lots of things planned!" Morgan stated. Robin sighed and dropped her arms.
The shrunken white-haired woman was resigned to her fate. It was bad enough that she was shrunk to the size of a doll and forced to play these challenges from Morgan, but now she was finding out that if she didn't win each one, she'd inevitably get smaller.
"Fine. It seems I have no choice. So I'll play along with you, dear." Robin said. Morgan smiled at his mother coming around. "But! If you don't restore me to my normal height when this is all over, I swear you'll end up regretting that choice!"
"Hee hee!" Morgan chuckled, a little nervously. "Okay!"
Robin smirked. She wasn't sure if her threat got through to her son or not, but she was certain that she'd be able to best him at his own games soon enough. Tiny or not, she was still his Mother, and even though it was a future version of her that taught him everything he knew, that was still a version of her that taught him everything he knew. And that was sure to be enough to make it through this ordeal.
Robin put her game face on and got ready to tackle this challenge and retrieve that cursed book. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
