“... Acton Hunter. I’m a... first year at my school.” True but Hunter was held back two years while your friend went onto U.A. Hunter hopes they are doing well.
Uraraka slowed her pace. “Acton Hunter? Are you foreign?” She lets go of Hunter’s hand as they turned a corner. Hunter rubs his hand a bit because Uraraka tugged on it a bit forceful.
“Y-yeah. My parents are both from out the country. They moved here for work and I was born after they settled in.” Hunter said. He fidgets with a coin he had in his pocket. “What about your parents?”
“My parents have been living here their whole lives. Both of them are in construction, building structures around the city. They work really hard, working tirelessly around the clock.” Uraraka smiled. Hunter could see how much she must adore her parents.
Still, Hunter notice Uraraka grow a little sad for some reason. Hunter decides not to push further. He just met the girl and they probably won’t see each other again once they reach U.A.
Hunter is 3/4 German and 1/4 Hispanic on his mother side. Dirty blond hair with a bit of slickness to it. His skin is darker than Uraraka’s but you can’t tell at first glance. He has a small nose and wide eyes, giving off the impression that he has a lot of interest in the world. He is 3 inches taller than Uraraka and while he is mostly slim, he does got a little chubby-ness on his belly.
Hunter is wearing casual clothes compare to Uraraka’s standard U.A. uniform, wearing nice, deep blue jeans and wearing a green, plaid shirt, button up in the middle. He figured he can’t go too formal, it is a festival after all. It had occurred to him if his face looked a little meaner, he might be mistaken for a delinquent. He tugged on his jeans, making sure they didn’t fall down.
“Er, that’s nice. Construction is a very important job in our society. I imagine how much the people would suffer from hero and villain clashes if someone wasn’t there to construct them back or improve on what we already have.” You wish you had something more clever to say. It’s just that you don’t know that much about construction to make better compliment.
It seemed to work because Uraraka’s spirit went back up. “Thanks. I’ll be happy to tell them that.” And they continue walking in silence for a bit.
15 minutes later, the U.A. school was in sight. Or at least you think so. It looks a bit different from the photos of it online. You look back on your phone. “Um... we are going to be late.”
You turn back to Uraraka and there is this really intense expression coming from her. “You’re right. We should run.” Uraraka took off and you put the coin back in your pocket before chasing off after her. It’s almost 8:00! Please don’tmissopeningannouncements.
