"...that you were more like your mother and...

The fact that Greg Strasserman was home at all hadn't even crossed Bill's mind, so terrified was he at the glow coming out of his father's hand. Greg worked at IngerCorp as an accountant, and he was normally at work by now, leaving shortly after breakfast on most days. Bill had sworn that his dad had already left, but apparently not!

"I wish you were more like your mother and I" Greg shouted, a burst of green-gold light erupted from his father's fist and washed over Bill. The older man let loose a surprised gasp from the sudden burst of light and let the Stone tumble to the porch, bouncing off his business shoes before the delicate gem rolled to a stop on the poured concrete slab. The light had shot from his hand and onto Bill! And even though it was too bright to look at directly, Greg knew that something strange was happening to his son, his anger turning to parental worry as he shielded his eyes from the glow.

But as for Bill, the teenage boy had no time to do anything but gasp as the light surrounded him like a magical girl anime transformation. He was nothing more than a slightly floating silhouette of green-gold light. With in, he felt his body begin to change! The geeky teenager's body felt hot for a moment before going numb. Bill felt stiff, frozen and unable to move, but...malleable, almost like clay! He felt his torso expand, he felt aches and pains shoot through his body, and then a incredible, red hot pain shot through his skull. He let out a silent cry as the light faded and the world returned to view.

There on the front porch of the Strasserman home, stood...
