Flashes of poodle skirts and parachute pants flooded Rick’s mind. If he focused, he could make out certain figures and events: Martin Luthor King Junior, Elvis Presley, Ronald Reagan, the assassination of JFK, and the Great Depression. He knew that he, his brothers, and his best friend were being sent somewhere between 1900 and 1999, he just wasn’t sure exactly when or where.
