“You've got to listen to me Kimberly!” Bill cried, disgusted with his whiny, high-pitched voice.

“Okay, twerp!” answered Kimberly. “You've got thirty seconds. What's so important?”

“W-W-Well...” stuttered Bill. “That gemstone you took from me is magic. If you get angry enough, it somehow feeds off that emotional energy and makes wishes come true.”

Kimberly shot him a skeptical look and sighed impatiently.

“Kimberly,” Bill pleaded. “Don't you think it's weird how stick-thin and weak I am now?”

“You've always been short and had a slight build,” she replied.

“Shit,” muttered Bill. “The stone must have altered reality then. But I still remember the way things used to be. And... well, don't you think it's odd that you're a thirteen year old girl but have the height and muscle and strength of an older boy?”

Kimberly suddenly shoved Bill to the pavement.

“Shut up!” she said menacingly. “Are you trying to pick a fight with me today? So what if I'm a little huskier than the other girls! I don't give you a hard time for being such a twerpy little weakling! It's just who we are and the way things have always been.”

“But that's just it!” pleaded Bill. “You used that green rock in your hands to wish us into being like this. You're supposed to be a thin, short girl... and I'm supposed to be an taller, stronger guy. Doesn't it make more sense that way?”

“I told you to shut up!” growled Kimberly, obviously sensitive about the larger, more masculine frame on her still female body. I don't believe this dumb 'wish stone' really did anything... and even if I did believe your stupid story, I wouldn't wish to be a scrawny little girl! Instead, I wish...”
