Chapter #6

A family

A family of 5 just began to sit down at one of the tables with food in hand. There were the parents, and three kids.

The dad was a large, burly fellow with a thick black beard. He had a large platter of Mexican food.

The mom seemed almost the opposite, a thin and dainty blonde woman wearing a summer dress. She lightly dressing a salad while saying something to her kids.

The oldest was their son, an average looking guy with a couple pimples and wearing a skater hat. He sat down with his burger and looked about nervously, like he was afraid of being seen with his family.

Nicole actually managed to recognize the middle child. It was Katie Portinu, an 11 year old girl from school. The chubby girl was already tearing into one of her burritos. She remembered her because she was a bit of a jerk to everyone around her and didn't have many friends.

And lastly was a little girl, maybe 5 or 6 years old. She was playing with a small toy and barely paying attention to her chicken nuggets and fries.

This was perfect...and entire family with different foods to pick from! It would be nice having some variety.

With the size ray in hand, Nicole started sprinting towards their table. Just as she was getting close, she jumped into the air and blasted herself with the ray. In an instant she was half an inch tall and hurdling towards their table!!

Nicole braced herself for impact as she started to land...
