Overall, you decide that King's Landing would be the most practical place to go. After all, going to the Vale by land alone would be ill-advised, and you would still need to take a boat to get to Dragonstone. King's Landing, however, is accessible to virtually everyone. Plus, you would have better opportunities for work, as well as increased chances of finding a motherly figure.

Once Aerion brings you to the edge of the Riverlands, you urge him towards the south, and then you ride on. A few days later, you follow the Kingsroad all the way to the outskirts of King's Landing. As you approach the capital city, you wonder what awaits you within those grand walls.

Let us stop here for a moment and address another critical matter: Who currently sits the Iron Throne?
