This choice: A woman with long strawberry-blonde hair, carrying what looks like a model city • Go Back... You expect to see a scientist who’s abit more prim and proper than normal folk, which is why you’re surprised to see a woman come in who couldn’t have been more than 25, with bright red highlights at the tips of her hair, which was seperated into pigtails. She was wearing a lab coat so you knew she was from the lab, but beneath it was a dark designed tshirt, and spiderweb stitched leggings that went all the way down to her feet, which were covered in what seemed to be slip-on Airwalks. She holds a hand out eagerly and says “Hey hey, i’m Alexa. Nice to meet you.” You shake her hand and say you’re not sure you’re in the right room. She pulls a pair of thick black-framed glasses out of her coat pocket and puts them on, looking at your chart then back to you. WIth a quick smile she says “Nope. You’re with me today. We’re gonna have some fun.”
With a flick of a switch on the wall, Alexa activates some unseen machinery in the floor which causes it to lift up slightly and then seperate. From underneath the floor comes a scale model of a small town. There are miniscule buildings , roads, even cars all scaled down proportionally to a person who’d be about the height of a small doll. “Like it? We’ve been working on it for years. Lots of hard work has gone into this project, and now we get to take it to the next level.” You ask her if you’re going to be working on the model itself…. A little nervously because you’ve never really been the artsy-model building type. She laughs and says “No, no the model isn’t what the experiment is for. You’re here to test the app.” App? What is she talking about? She whips out her phone and plays around with it for a bit before holding it up and saying “Say cheese!” You instinctively smile at the picture as it flashes, and she continues pressing on her screen. You see her make a motion with her hands as if she’s pinching a picture closer together, and then taps twice. As soon as the second tap occurs, you immediately feel the world zooming around you as if you’ve been transported to another world. The ground feels different under your feet, the air seems a bit colder, and your surroundings seem much… bigger. You slowly pan up to see Alexa crouching down slightly and waving at you. "WELL AREN'T YOU JUST THE CUTEST LITTLE DOLL I'VE EVER SEEN..." Based on her stature you must only be a few inches tall. She shrunk you!
You go with your gut feeling of how to react to this by running in the opposite direction of Alexa. You don’t know where you’re heading, you just know that you want to escape from whatever the giant woman has planned for you. As you run, you see the scope of themodel beside you and realize she’s shrunk you down to fit into that city. She’s basically turned you into a living doll for her model! You don’t gain much ground across the carpeted floor, and feel the tremors of Alexa’s big feet trailing behind you, getting louder with every passing step. "WATCH OUT, LITTLE GUY. I MIGHT STEP ON YOU IF YOU DON'T RUN FAST ENOUGH!" Her booming giggling voice fills the air as a shadow is cast over you and you feel your body being lifted up by two massive objects on either side. You are zoomed up to her face as she dangles you in front of her bespectacled eyes, held tightly between her thumb and middle finger. She laughs at your plight as you struggle and says “HEHEHE... I'M SO GLAD TO SEE THE APP WORKS. WE'VE NEVER TRIED IT ON A LIVING CREATURE BEFORE. COME ON, LET'S INTRODUCE YOU TO YOUR NEW TOWN.”
She slowly lowers you down with her hand, depositing you gently onto one of the roads of the city. You look around and marvel at the model and the fact that you feel just like a toy in her presence. But there’s something that’s a bit off… Some of the model clearly looks handmade while the others seem to be much more intricate and detailed. That’s when it hits you that the app has been used before… some of these buildings and cars aren’t toys, they’ve been shrunk down just like you! With two booming steps, Alexa stands in the distance, towering over the city with a satisfied smile. She looks down at you and says ...
