The twilight princess headed for the world of masks. As she got to a dark cave, she thought about all of the changes she could make, and the fact that there were so many masks made it even better. However, she decided an immediate change was in order. Of course, she decided that she should change Link's initial appearance.
Link was chasing after the Skull Kid, bearing a heart-shaped mask, and floating above the ground as he floated away. The Link chased the creature into a hole, where, as he fell through, he saw numerous strange figures resembling bright paintings. Some he recognized, some he didn't. After a fall, he found himself upon a large, pink flower. He got to his feet, and looked around, spying a large pond. And at the other end was that Skull Kid. Midna watched as the normal events played out, up until the Skull Kid cast his curse. Then, she changed things up.
Ordinarily, Link would be transformed into a Deku Scrub, and forced to live out the next three days as one. However, instead of turning into a Deku, the hero began to shrink down, his body becoming covered in a light-green fur. The spell had turned the hero into a pup. Midna couldn't help but chuckle. She recalled how her Link would be turned into a wolf whenever he was in contact with Twilight... maybe the size of the Link determined how big the dog was. She couldn't help but chuckle about how difficult the hero's adventure might turn out now. Similarly, the Skull Kid was laughing too.
As he laughed, he floated backwards, passing through a large door with one of the black fairies in tow. He passed through, and it closed, blocking off Tatl. Familiarly, the fairy couldn't open it up, so she teamed up with Link, who could actually open up the door. This would already be a challenge for the hero, but perhaps the little guy should be shown an alpha. With a wave of her index finger, April and May spawned near the end of the path ahead of Link, with the orders to rough up Link. Now, how'd they go about it?
