Kaede was a bright, optimistic and very kind gal. She had a positive influence on everyone around her and there wasn't anyone who truly hated her in any form. Although she was a bit suspicious of the fact that she and many more people were whisked to a faraway virtual place just to do whatever, she wasn't going to dwell on it for too long as she begun to introduce herself to all the different people who were in this space with her. There were many more weird and wacky people to know. Some were shy, some were aloof, some were loud, some were crazy, some were funny, some were mean. All she knew that this place would certainly not be very boring. Anyway, after a few days with no real incidents, the day where this story is set arrived. In the morning, as she headed towards the breakfast hall to start her day off, she noticed Miu Iruma, the pervy inventor, looking a little concerned as she searched the floors of the outdoors for something. Kaede stopped by the inventor to ask her what's wrong.
"Good morning Miu!" Kaede greeted.
"Huh? Oh, mornin'" Miu replied, looking up for a split second at Kaede before returning her gaze to the floor.
"What are you looking for?" Kaede asked curiously.
"Uh... Just something I fucking lost. Don't worry about it titless." Miu waved her off.
"Hey! I have a very healthy bust you know!" Kaede complained.
It was true. Kaede had one of biggest busts in the place. Not that there was a competition for it or anything.
"Yeah yeah whatever." Miu waved her off.
Kaede decided to leave Miu alone and made her way to the dining room. Kaede had a relatively fun day. She interacted with a lot of people and managed to grow particularly close to this red-haired camera girl who was named Mahiru Koizumi. At the end of it though, she was a little tired from socialization so she decided to rest outside on her own on a bench outside. Well, the sky and wind were all virtually simulated of course but it still felt pretty realistic. A gentle breeze was blowing through the area as Kaede closed her eyes to take in the sensation. Feeling comfortable, she decided to relove her shoes, her socks coming into contact with the soft ground the bench was sitting on. Wanting to feel nature pure, she decided to remove her socks too and lay her bare feet on the soft ground. She wiggled her toes as she basked in the nice sensation. She was all alone in the outside as most people were sleeping or were hanging out late in their rooms. There was no one to disturb her. Suddenly, she felt a tickling sensation around her feet. Lazily, she looked down and saw something moving up her toes. She couldn't see clearly what was climbing up her foot since, alongside the moonlight, the only light that illuminated the area she was in was a streetlight but she decided to have a bit of fun with the bug. Raising her toes, the thing obviously struggled to maintain balance. Kaede then started wiggling her toes. The thing bounced up and down with her toes but it held on. Raising an eyebrow, she decided to challenge the bug and lift her entire foot up. She placed her heel on the ground as she lifted her foot so it stood off vertically off the ground. The bug still held on. It was at the tip of her big toe and still holding on. With her right foot in this position, she decided to let her other foot take the exact same position too. She then collided her feet together as the sides of each foot banged into each other. The bug was still just barely hanging on. Kaede smiled. This bug was surprisingly really resistant. She decided to really take a feel of it. She concluded that if it was wanted to bite her, it would have already done so. Normally, Kaede hated being cruel to helpless little creatures but she may as well make an exception. It was just a virtual bug after all so it likely wasn't real. Plus, she'd try not to kill it. Using her other foot, Kaede used her other toes to pluck off the bug off her big toe. This sandwiched the bug in the gap between her big toe and the second toe. She then scrunched her toes, getting a feel for the tiny thing. It was surprisingly resistant and this bug had the most odd design. Kaede didn't feel any hard exterior. There was no abdomen or any legs or wings. Just what was this creature? Kaede thought to herself as she continued to mush the thing between her mighty toes. Eventually though, her curiousity got the better of her as she stopped mushing the thing. She bent her back down as her toes released the thing from its clutches. The bug fell onto the ground. Kaede placed her massive bare feet either side of the bug as she knelt down to observe what kind of creature this was. The lighting wasn't the best so she had to squint to see the thing. It was... weird. It was built with a really tiny head and a small body. Kaede was super confused so she had to check this thing out. She reached down her massive fingers and plucked down the little terrified thing gently off the ground. Kaede then lifted the body up to her face. Peering closely at it, the creature looked a little familiar.
"Wait a minute." Kaede murmured. "Is that...?"
