It was a Thursday morning like any other and you were just getting ready for work.
Your name is Sam and you are 20 years old. The college life wasn’t for you, so after graduating high school you decided to set out and make your own way. It took a couple years of hard work, but you had finally managed to get a nice office job and a nice 1-bedroom apartment for yourself. The best part though, your apartment was across the street from a bar where a hot girl named Jess worked. In addition to having good food, you were hopeful that this weekend would be the time you finally had the courage to officially ask Jess out! You had been getting to know her casually for weeks, and were getting ready to make the move.
As you were getting ready for work, you hear a knock on your door. Answering it, you find no one there but look down to see a package of diapers and wipes at your doorstep. You look back out trying to find the courier to let them know they have the wrong address, but there is no sign of them. Not wanting any of neighbors to see, you quickly bring the package in to your apartment and start looking for the address label. Unable to find it quickly though, you decide to deal with it later as you don’t want to be late for work.
You head to work, and you quickly forget about the anomaly of the morning as you focus on your work and what you are going to say to Jess tonight.
Your workday passes uneventfully, and you head home to change and then head out to the bar to meet Jess. You almost decided to ask her out, but as you had already had quite a lot to drink, you decided you would go home and sleep on it. If it still felt like a good idea tomorrow when you were sober, you would do it!
