Dimensional Travel magic, one of the higest form of magics and the hardest to learn. Which was why Starlight was trying just that. Now, she wasn't as good as her friend Twilight, but she has done her whole operation, she has set up, drank some magic filling juice and now she was ready to use it.
Starlight smiled, after redeeming herself and working hard, she's at a place now where she can just... enjoy herself. Occasionally visit Trixie, go to new spots... she's much healthier now then when she first met the Mane Six.
And now, she was really testing how good of a Unicorn she is. Just outside of her house, in her backyard she has set the area.
"Okay it's just... shifting down the barrier between words and breaking space itself, I can do this." She took a step back, focused her magic through her horn... and shot it out! She tried her hardest to materialize it... and it worked! She was opening a portal, and she was beyond happy! She can't walk through it though, as she needs to focus just to have it continue!
Next was stabilizing it, focused it became less of a rigid portal, and more stable. Someone could walk through it at this point, well... not her, since it took all of her concentration just to have the portal!
But something happened, something she didn't expect. Something walked out through her portal, into her world! It was large, towering over her almost three size! It stood on two feet, and it was intimidating! Maybe because she was focusing on the portal, she couldn't figure out what this thing was! All she could see that it was walking to her.
"S-Stay back!" She shouted, as her magic portal... broke. Losing her connection, as it stepped another foot closer to her! "I said stay back!" She used a Magic Spell, a Shrinking Spell as it hit the creature."
The creature got knocked over, and in an instant... it shrunk down in size. She loves using the Shrinking Spell, on anything that is a threat to her. It was knocked out, and now the size of a bug. Feeling tired from the spells she just cast, she walked over to inspect it. Oh she hopes it's not some wild monster that she has now inflicted upon Equestria. However as she trotted over, and peaked down into the grass, she noticed something.
The creature she has shrunken, the creature that she has attacked and brought into Equestria... was a human. She's been in the human world before, so she knows what one looks like. And knows they aren't bad or monsters... most of them can't even use magic.
"That's a portal to Cantorlot High!" She smiled. "Oh no... I attacked him! Oh please be okay!?"

You stir awake, trying to recover. You just came back from Graduation, when there was a portal opening up literally right next to you! Yeah it was pretty stupid walking through it without a care in the world, and pretty stupid to walk towards the pink Pony that was yelling at you, but she was so cute and you meant no harm.
You tried to explain that to her, until you got hit... by something? You weren't really sure.
You sit up, groaning to yourself and trying to recover when suddenly you look around.
"W-Wait... I'm in a box!" A glass box! Terrarium if anything. Standing onto your feet, you were filled with a little bit of panic as you go over to the side. Pounding on the wall, and the glass.
You were in a giant home! A pretty and colourful home but... you are shrunken down in size! You are pounding on the glass, screaming for help as you felt like a pet!
"Help! Help!" And luckily someone wasn't too far away from you, as she was able to hear you shouting and pounding.
The door opened in the room, and the unicorn peaked her head inside. Seeing you there. "You're awake! Great!" She smiled wide, as she used magic to close the door behind her. She started to trot over, and she was cute... until her giant face was looming on the other side of the glass. You fell on your rear as you saw just how big she was compared to you.
"Y-You weren't this big before." You commented a bit scared.
And she giggled, because she thought of it herself. Shrinking someone so much bigger than her, a threat into a tiny little thing that could be mistaken as a bug or a pet, it did make her chuckle. "It was my shrinking magic, I use it whenever something is too big, but I would never have used it on you if I knew you were a human! I should have looked closer and acted smarter."
"I-I guess..."
"I've been to the human world a bit, but I never thought I was opening a portal there. What a funny coincidence." She chimed in looking down at the human stuck in the glass terrarium.
"So... you are a unicorn from a different world, and... you used your magic to create a portal, and shrink me?"
"Well I got scared but... no! Sorry, no excusing it." She remarked, as you guess she was nice.
My name is (Your Name)." You say to her.
"And mine is Starlight Glimmer, it's nice to meet you, given these situations."
"Y-Yeah." You reply back up to her feeling nervous, but you still flash a large smile up to the giantess. "So can you grow me big in size, w-with like magic?"
"I can," Starlight smiled. "I have a shrinking spell, it's only natural that I have a growing spell as well." You got a large smile on your face, as you thought it was going to be great with you being grown.
"You attacked me, but you are actually very nice and cute." You were feeling safe. "Well, grow me big please!"
"Uh... well," Starlight blushed nervously. "Here's the thing ________-"
