Kara had been careless during a recent robbery where human bank robbers armed with Alien weaponry were allowed to get a shot off on the Girl of Steel, shrinking her instantly.
She failed in her mission, and worse, they got away with nearly a million dollars in cash belonging to the citizens of the city she'd sworn to protect.
Luckily, the bad guys and their female boss had no idea what the device they shot Supergirl with actually did, quickly assuming they vaporized her before making a speedy getaway.
Bold as she may be, even Kara wasn't hot-headed enough to think she could take down three building-sized adversaries, all by her lonesome. Her best path forward was to lay low and wait for Alex to arrive.
"I should keep a low profile for now. I'm sure Alex can reverse this when she gets here. Then I can hunt those guys down and shrink them as payback." Kara smiled, reassuring herself that this was only her temporary size, taking refuge under a bike rack as she waited for Alex to arrive.
Of course, once Alex heard that Supergirl had gone missing, it didn't take her very long to arrive on the scene, stepping out of a black SUV only a few feet away from Kara.
"Kara. Where are you?" Alex said worriedly, scanning the area for any sign of her adopted sister's whereabouts, unaware that she was currently standing near her feet.
"Here's my chance," Kara announced, taking flight. Her powers were still completely intact after being shrunk. Though much like herself, they'd been greatly diminished in size and strength.
Kara flew around Alex's thighs and hips as she walked toward the crime scene, doing her best to keep pace with the gigantified version of her Earth-Born sibling. Despiting the fact she was still not used to flying at her new tiny size.
She flew across Alex's abdomen and chest. Literally flying right under her sister's nose as the Kryptonian woman began calling out her name.
"Alex, Alex! Down here! It's me!" Kara yelled, hoping her tiny voice would still reach Alex's giant ears.
"Huh?" Alex scrunched her nose, looking down in Kara's direction.
"Stupid bug," Alex said, taking a light-hearted swing at Kara to fend her off, nearly swatting her out of the skies like she was a common fly.
"Hey! Quit it! Look at me!" Kara yelled, blowing a gust of wind in Alex's face, causing her eyes to narrow on her bug-sized form.
"What the hell?" Alex asked herself, unable to believe her eyes.
"Great, you see me! Alex, we need to head back to the DEO and..." Kara began before Alex's hand caught her off-guard from behind, striking from her blind side.
Alex's Thumb landed beneath Kara's boots, pushing her up while her index finger appeared over Kara's head, forcing the shrunken woman to throw her hands up to keep her sister at bay. Her body caught between Alex's fingertips as the secret agent brought the blonde Kryptonian under her gaze.
"Kara? I didn't believe it at first but is that really you?" Alex asked, astounded by how small Kara had become. She was just under an inch tall, no bigger than a gummy bear.
"Yeah, it's me. Now can we please head back to the DEO and unshrink me? I'm not used to you being stronger than me!" Kara admitted. Not sure how she would have handled a sister the size of a skyscraper back when they were growing up together & Alex still didn't like her.
"Sorry, Kara. But we don't have the tech for that. I'm afraid you'll be stuck like this until we figure something out." Alex declared, glancing over Kara's claim that she was now stronger than her. She wasn't even exerting that much pressure, so the thought failed to cross her mind.
"What, how am I supposed to go to work? Or make myself food? Most importantly, how am I supposed to be Supergirl?" Kara asked, prompting an answer from Alex whether she liked the outcome or not.
"I'll figure something out with J'onn. He can pretend to be you for a while. Until then, we can't let anyone see you like this." Alex announced, settling the matter as she moved Kara towards her chest, quickly shoving the Girl of Steel down her shirt and between her tits.
"Whoa! Wait, Alex! Isn't there a better place you could..." Kara said, once again interrupted by her sister's actions, finding a soft landing zone waiting for her inside Alex's shirt as her sister pushed National City's hero deep inside her cleavage.
"Sit back and relax, Kara. I'll take care of everything." Alex declared proudly, turning back to get in her SUV, slamming one breast into the other as she turned, the wall of boob flesh to her right conforming to the curves of Kara's face as she tried to yell.
Clearly, getting used to living in a world where she was this small would be a challenging endeavor. Kara thought to herself, experiencing the rhythmic bounce of Alex's breasts as she walked. Kara never did like bounce houses growing up.
Finally, Alex hopped into her truck and drove off.
"Don't worry about me, I guess. I'm buckled up, down here." Kara sarcastically joked, wishing Alex would've at least taken her out of her shirt and put her in the passenger seat or let her fly freely around the car so they could talk.
Truthfully, Alex was too worried to let Kara move around freely. With the windows cracked. Alex was concerned that her shrunken sibling could be sucked-out into the unknown like the Xenomorph in the movie Aliens.
Going the speed limit and stopping at red lights, it didn't take long for Alex to arrive at the sisters' destination, Alex's apartment, where Kara would meet her new roommate.
"Hey Alex, did you find her? Did you find Supergirl?" A familiar voice asked as Alex opened the door to her apartment.
"Yeah, we got her," Alex responded, quickly reaching down her shirt to retrieve Kara for the curious young girl, scooping Kara between all five of her fingers before pulling her outside her cleavage.
"Wait, you're not going to show me to her? Are you?" Kara asked, trying to force apart Alex's fingers, wishing her sister would key her in on things that could risk the exposure of her secret identity. But as Alex's fingers unfurled, her intentions became clear. And Kara found that she was now looking up at a gigantic Ruby Arias. Who was nearly as big as her sister and currently under Alex's care while her mom Sam was out of town(Running experiments with Lena Luthor in secret).
"Whoa! Is that, Supergirl?" Ruby paused, unable to believe what she was seeing. Her favorite hero and idle was the size of a gumdrop in Alex's palm. "What happened to her?" The young girl asked, her gaze fixed on the shrunken Supergirl.
"Supergirl here got careless during a robbery earlier and wound up shrunk. So she's agreed to stay with us for the time being. Until they can find a way to turn her back to normal, at least." Alex explained, and while she didn't say anything that wasn't technically true, it still hurt to hear Alex say she messed up so casually.
"Wait, that means me and Supergirl will be like roommates? That's so cool!" Ruby cheered, not even thinking about judging her hero for being shrunk on the job. Excited to start living her daily life with Supergirl right away as Alex lowered Kara to the floor, giving her a nudge to get her off her hand.
From the ground, Ruby looked even more enormous. But her attention had momentarily shifted to Alex as she explained the rules of their arrangement, leaving Kara to watch as the two towering females had a conversation without her.
"Remember Ruby. Supergirl is our guest. Be nice to her and try not to bother her. She's too small to cook for herself at this size, so you're in charge of dinner. If any problems come up, I trust you to handle them." Alex explained, trying to show Kara proper respect while balancing the dynamic between the young girl and her new roommate.
"I understand, Alex. We'll be fine. I promise." Ruby replied, looking down at Supergirl with a warm smile. Surprised at how much she looked like a bug from above.
"Great, I've got to head back to work now, but I'll be back in a few hours. Have fun, girls." Alex announced, closing the door and leaving Ruby alone with Kara.
What does Ruby have planned?
1. Ruby heads Alex's words and leaves Supergirl alone for a while, telling her to make "herself at home" and that she'd check in later. Kara grabs the TV remote and turns on a musical to help her relax, but at some point, Ruby walks out and sits on the couch, using Kara as a cushion by accident.
2. Ruby asks Supergirl to help paint her toes, grabbing a few bottles of varnish resembling Supergirl's color scheme and laying them on the floor next to Kara before taking off her socks and shoes, flexing her toes in Supergirl's face so that she can paint them.
3. Kara can tell that Ruby is excited to have Supergirl as a roommate and offers to play a game with the young girl. It could be a round of twister, truth or dare, or anything Ruby wants. What will she decide?
