This choice: A plot by the King of Thieves, Ganondorf • Go Back... Watching as Impa lead Link from the courtyard, Zelda clutched her chest. All of her hopes went with that boy she had literally just met. Nobody took her seriously, except for Impa, who knew of her prophetic powers, and the boy from the forest, who had a vision similar to hers.
"Please, be careful, Link," She said quietly before returning to her previous task. Eavesdropping on the King of Thives and the King of Hyrule.
As she peered through the window, she was disappointed to find that the meeting had concluded during her talk with Link.
"Ah, well," She sighed, turning away. "I suppose I should return to my room and wait for Impa".
As she started across the garden, the sky above her darkened. A menacing laugh echoed throughout the courtyard.
"My dear Princess Zelda. Didn't your father teach you that it's rude to spy?"
Zelda let out a gasp. She had heard this voice! It was the one from her dream that personified darkness and evil.
"It seems you'll be more trouble than I originally thought..."
In front of her, a dark cloud of smoke appeared. It was similar to the one her attendant used, only Impa didn't step out. Instead, a burly guy with tan skin and red hair did. He grinned at the young Princess, who stepped back.
"Ganondorf," She said, trying to remain calm.
"Princess Zelda". Ganondorf bowed mockingly. "I'm pleased you know me. But alas, forgive me for ignoring pleasantries as you have. I cannot abide a spy, you see. And the Gerudo punishment for a spy is rather... harsh..."
He laughed, reaching into a pouch on his belt. Zelda turned, intending to run for the window. Her father couldn't have left the throne room...
A hand grabbed her rough by the scruff of her dress. She let out a strangled yelp as she was effortlessly lifted into the air. Ganondorf held a small fruit in his hand, one that he shoved into Zelda's mouth. He forced her to chew the bitter fruit, dropping her when she swallowed...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
