Lilly was a few millimeters tall upon her desk, it had been like this for the past three days, and she'd heard nothing. Unable to get off of the desk, she'd just assumed that something had happened to her house, and not the entire planet. She was yet to see an anthro.
She stood on a fine porcelain plate, having needed to stay near her only food source. When S-Day had happened, she was studying, hunched over her desk with a half-eaten sandwich on the plate next to her. The bread on the bottom slice of her old sandwich was all she'd eaten, her insect-sized body unable to reach the lettuce or tomato further up.
Though the tiny brunette was getting tired of bread. And thus, she decided to clamber off of the plate and try and find something. She got to the edge of the plate and looked down, that was a long, long way. There was nothing else for her to do, though, so it'd be worth a leap of faith, right? Closing her eyes, Lilly hopped off the end of the plate, feeling the air rush past her for a few seconds, before the ground hit her. She expected to be in great pain, but there was nothing, the fall didn't hurt at all.
All things considered, she was having quite an easy time.

Her similarly bug-sized parents, however, weren't having such a good time. They were both separated, her father on the carpet before the door, and her mother on the couch. There was no food anywhere, and they hadn't eaten since before S-Day.Things didn't seem like they could get worse, but they were bound to.
