An idea suddenly struck him.

Sombra's head perked up. An idea had struck him, one so obvious he felt like slapping himself. He couldn't break the magic, but he could absorb it. He need not fear that it was dark magic, for he was King Sombra, the master of all dark forces, or at least that was what he told himself.

Sombra teleported from his throne room to the highest keep of the castle. There he stood on the balcony, ready to absorb the dark clouds, but before he did that Sombra hesitated.

He had ones seen what happened to unicorns who absorbed power from another. Yes, there power obviously increased, but so that other attributes of them, such as height gain or expansion of other features.

If the canopy was even stronger than him, what would happen if he tried to absorb so much power? Would he expand as well. The king was wondering if this was a good idea.

"No." He shook his head furiously. "I waited too long for thissss. I shall have my freedom!"

Sombra's crooked horn began to glow, and like a metal being attracted to a magnet the clouds began funnel towards him, and his horn absorbed the dark smoke.

Sombra began to feel a sensation course through his body. It felt warm and comforting, like a hug or a warm bath. He heard a ominous noise, like rubber stretching, but he ignored it

The feeling began to shift, growing more uncomfortable to the point of being unbearable. When it all became to much Sombra released the hold.

When he did this, he felt odd, and when he checked himself he found...
