Sam opened the box to find a small digital voice recorder & a sheet of what looked like instructions. Sam picked the instructions up & read them out loud to himself, “Greetings Sam. This is a magic voice recorder. Whatever you say into it will become reality. The person holding it will be the only one to see or recognize the reality change & know how things always was unless stated otherwise. For instance So if someone else makes a change & you or they haven’t stated that you’ll be aware of the changes, you’ll think the change has always been reality. Have fun & be careful with is this reality changing voice recorder.”
Sam picked up the small, black recorder. He turned it over in his hands & looked it over. It had a built in microphone, a red record button, a stop button, a play & erase button. Sam said to himself, “a reality changing voice recorder. Yeah right. Only one way to prove it doesn’t change reality. That’s to make a record. I’ll try to change something that can’t be explained by reason.” Sam lifted the recorder to his mouth as he pushed the record button as he said, “the outside of my house has always been stone instead of brick!” Sam pushed the stop button ending the recording as he heard a weird sparkling sound. Suddenly Sam noticed something odd about the picture of him & his girlfriend April standing in front of the house a few weeks ago before the freshman dance. April was in a very nice dress & Sam in a nice tuxedo. However the house instead of being red brick was now a stone house. Sam said, “no way. I’ve got to check the other pictures. No way it changed the house from brick to stone.”
Sam walked out of his room & went down stairs to the living room. Sam went through every photo album to see every photo of the house, each photo of Sam & his brothers on the first day of each school year showed the house as a stone house instead of a brick house. Sam went outside to the front yard & turned to look at the house. What he saw stunned him. The house literally is made out of stone! Sam quickly went inside & back to his room. Sam stunned that it actually worked pondered what to do next?
