Chapter #5A little trip to Earth by: SweetGab   Xinu is a Grey. Among the various alien species in the galaxy, it is the most proliferating and most widespread. She has always been defined as a very outgoing, playful and kind alien. She has many friends and girlfriends with whom she willingly goes out. They have made lots of trips and trips to every corner of the cosmos: sunbathing in binary systems, diving in gas giants, buffets of comets and asteroids and much more.
Today Xinu has decided to take a quiet day for herself because her group has already prepared another trip to Sagittarius A*. Once she notified her mother that she was leaving and that she would be back before dinner, she started the teleporter. Xinu scrolled down coordinates and places on the database, but many of them had already been visited by others or by her until she found an untouched location. Yes, some analysis has been done in the past and a few aliens went there a long time ago, but planet Earth has never been of interest to the Galactic Community. She selects the place and presses the start button. Smoke envelops her and slowly becomes more and more transparent until she disappears in a flash.

It's a boring day on Earth. All with the usual problems and all busy getting to the end of the day or celebrating the end of the working day. However, some people are more (un)lucky than others, like Adam. He's walking on the sidewalk with a couple of coffees in hand for the office and simultaneously is trying to send an important email on his smartphone when suddenly there's no signal and the internet connection comes and goes. Adam is too busy cursing at his second-hand smartphone to notice that many others are in the same situation as him. And if that weren't enough, the beautiful sunny day is gradually being replaced by a cloudy one. Adam isn't a meteorologist, but it's strange that a cloud forms so suddenly and expands so quickly. But it's not time to worry, there's some coffee to give to his colleagues. Or at least that's what Adam thought before being hit by a blinding flash.
When Adam regains consciousness, he notices that he is on the ground. His cell phone is broken, and the coffee is on the floor. He doesn't understand what happened, but when he gets up, he notices that the main street and the various neighbourhoods, including the one where the coffee shop where he had breakfast was, are no longer there. Now, a few steps away from him, there is only a grey wall. A huge grey wall that looms in all directions. Adam can’t possibly understand what's in front of him, but for some reason, he decides to approach him and touch him with a finger. It's not a hard wall, rather it has a... meaty consistency? As if it is skin. Now that he notices, it also emits a slight heat and is a bit humid. Adam can't know that what he has in front of him is part of one of Xinu's two toes.

The Grey, like Xinu, are also a very large alien species. Their size varies mainly with age, and Xinu is 1000 miles (1609km) tall, which means that she is below average. For an earthling, on the other hand, she is very tall, indeed out of any scale. She, by simply teleporting, completely erased cities, roads, rivers, valleys, mountains and beaches from the face of the universe. Her feet tower over all being 134 miles (216km) long and 47 miles (75km) wide and the area crushed by her enormous weight equals 12300 square miles (32000km^2). Adam in his bad luck was lucky, as he was only missed by 6 feet (2m)
Xinu looks around and as she exclaims: "Wow, it looks like a pretty good planet, too bad it's so small."
