A hero decides to seek help against the Giantess

Far away in the capitol word of the massacre has reached the King. And other massacres like it. This Giantess, Skadi they call her, is a menace. Her hunger for man-flesh is insatiable, her greed for stolen booty irrepressible

The King's greatest knight, Ser Dagonet, is called forward and entreated to do something. He may someday be called Giantslayer if only he can stop this she-devil, this walking avalanche, from claiming more victims.

Ser Dagonet is tall and powerful, his armor is heavy and his sword sharp, but he knows he is no match for this Giantess. She would finish him with one stomp, grinding his maille beneath her bare foot and splattering his guts across the snow as if he were an over-ripe grape.

He will not fight her directly. He will seek out another Giantess. A friendly Giantess to act as the King's champion. The ing agrees to this plan, and promises to set aside honors, gold, and land for this Giantess saviour.

Ready with the promise of booty, and glory, and worship to lure HER Ser Dagonet sets out in search of a Giantess...
