"No actually, I was wondering if we could make one more swap." She told him. "I want to swap lives with you and see how that would work out." Josh looked over at her with an odd expression. "What I just want to see how that would work. Would everybody see me as you? Would I get your body? Would I get your clothes or what?" She rambled on with her scientific mind going into overdrive trying to get to all the conclusions.
"Um..." Josh looked a little overwhelmed. "I don't know. How about we talk it over and see what else we can swap. Okay?"
Just as Josh was talking, Kira was starting to walk past the door and overheard part of their conversation. "What are you guys playing?" She invited herself into the room and sat down next to them, only to see that they weren't playing anything.
"Kira, Josh was showing me his new ability." Jenn quickly replied not really thinking about much about it. Josh really couldn't blame her too much though. He knew that when she got excited, she tended not to have a filter and everything tended to come out all at once. "Look he has my hair." She leaned over and grabbed a small portion of Josh's new hair and showed her.
"Sis, I think you've been studying a little too much." Kira replied with a sarcastic tone. "You've always kept your hair short."
"No it's true." Jenn quickly replied trying to prove herself. "Here let us show you." She sat there for a minute not knowing if Kira will know about the swap. "Wait a moment." She turned over to Josh and whispered in to his ear. "I think that we might need to involve Kira in a swap too."
"What?" Josh asked with surprise. "Why?"
"We don't know if she will see the swaps if we don't involve her." Jenn pointed out to him. "Look, my hair is all dry now." She replied as she brought her hand up to her head to show him. "How about we go ahead and swap our hair back and we will discuss it."
"Wait, I still have to agree for all the swaps to happen." He was quick to point out. "I don't want to swap with your little sister if I can help it."
Jenn sat there for a minute to think it over. She had an idea to make Josh do what she wanted. She has always known that Josh has had a 'thing' for her. Ever since the 7th grade, she's noticed the way he reacted when he was around her. "How about this." She looked over at Kira. "Josh and I are going to swap back our hair and he's going to swap lives with you."
"Wait, what?" Josh asked looking confused. "Why am I going to do that?"
Jenn leaned back over and got close to his ear. "Because I want to see how a life swap will work and plus it's Friday night and we can have a slumber party." She looked over at Josh and noticed that he was blushing a deep red. She pulled away from him and asked him once more. "Josh will you swap hair with me?"
"Umm..." He cleared his throat. "Yeah, I will do that." The bright flash enveloped the room and Josh found that his hair was once again short.
"Whoa." Kira exclaimed. "That was wicked." She stood there slack jawed for a minute, not really knowing how to comprehend it.
"See." Jenn gestured between her and Josh. "That is what he can do." She looked over at Josh and nudged him.
"What?" Josh sat there in a somewhat defeated manner. He sighed and looked back over at Kira. "Kira do you want to swap lives with me?"
Kira sat there for a moment not knowing what to do. "Actually, _____."
