As Josh sulked in his room about what he just gave up for his sister, he heard an odd noise coming from the driveway. It sound like somebody playing basketball. He got up from his bed and looked out the window to see Courtney having the time of her life. The smile on her face showed how much she was enjoying herself. Seeing this, Josh knew that he'd done something good for another person and decided to go down to see if he could play too. "Hey sweetie." Kim replied with a smile on her face. "Glad to see that you've come out of your room. Where are you heading?"
"I thought I'd go outside and help Courtney train." He replied with a smile.
Kim chuckled at this comment. "Sweetie, you're not really a sporty kind of guy, but it's nice to see that you want to help your sister." She rubbed his cheek with the back of her hand in a loving manner. This seemed to aggravate Josh just a little bit and decided to see if he could put the record straight.
"But Mom, she took it from me." Josh complained. "I'm the one that's decent at basketball, I'm the one that loves baseball, and I"m the one that played basketball in middle school." He waited for a minute to see what his Mom would say about this revelation.
"That's rich." Kim chuckled. "Maybe you should go out and see if you can help Courtney. You sure do have the ambition for it." Josh groaned as he heard this and decided to leave it alone for right now and made his way out side.
Closing the door behind him, Josh heard a loud bang as the ball hit the back board and through the hoop once more. "Oh, hey Josh." Courtney replied when she saw her brother coming out of the house to meet her. "Thanks again for letting me have your sports skills."
"Well, your going to give it back to me after school on Monday." Josh corrected his sister as he pick up the ball and tried to pass it to his sister, who had her arms out ready for the pass. Letting the ball go, he found that it only traveled less than a few feet before bouncing over to her open arms.
"Nice toss spaz." Courtney commented, making sure to use the same term that her brother used when they were growing up.
"Whatever, it's only because you took my sport skills." He replied as he watched her dribble the ball to the far end of the drive way and throw it into the net. "Wow, I bet that was a 4 point Home run."
Courtney couldn't help but laugh at the comment. "I think you mean a 3 pointer. Man, I can't believe that I was that dumb with sports." She shook her head in shame.
"Whatever." Josh spat back as he sat down. "And it's because you took my knowledge too."
"Well, I can give you something that I like to do in exchange for the skills and knowledge." Courtney offered.
Josh sat down for a minute to think it over. In the end, he decided _______.
