Josh didn't know what to do. Less than five minutes ago, he was almost an expert at his favorite game and now he barely knew how to work the controls. He knew that the left joystick would move the character and the buttons on the right would do various things, but if you asked him which button did which, he wouldn't know. "Let's swap back Courtney."
"No." Courtney replied defiantly as she shook her head. "I kind of like having your video gaming skills and now I will be able to see what the big deal is about." She was referring to her friend's seemingly unnatural obsession with it. She looked back over at her brother who was starting to give her the stink eye for her seemingly betrayal. "What?"
Josh sighed as his sister's clear obstain from returning back to normal. "You know clear well what I want. I want my video game skills back."
"How about we wait a little bit before we swap back." Courtney suggested as she started to play again. "I mean, it's not everyday that something like this will happen. So give it a couple days before we swap back, that way we can see what all has been swapped."
Josh didn't really know what to do. On one hand, he could keep his sister's video games skills for a couple days, and on the other hand, he could go to his Mom to demand that she do it. Deciding to go with prior, Josh begrudgingly nodded his head. "Fine, but we swap back after a couple days." Josh demanded as he left his sister playing his games in his room. Instead, he decided to go outside to the basketball hoop and shoot for a little bit. Grabbing his ball from the downstairs closet, Josh went out side and started to dribble the ball. Or at least he tried to dribble the ball. As he did it, he felt a little bit off and his body wasn't doing what he wanted. Hearing the ball roll off, Josh looked down at his hands and wondered what was going on. He grabbed the ball once more and instead of dribbling it, Josh just shot it at the backboard. Again, he felt a little off and watched as the ball fell a few feet short from going into the basket. "Great." Josh yelled to nobody in particular. "I guess I got her sport skills too."
*** Meanwhile upstairs ***
Courtney was having the time of her life with the game she was playing. Her friend, Kira, messaged her.
'Hey Josh what's going on?'
'Hey Kira, this is Courtney. Josh isn't really feeling like himself today.'
'Oh hey Courtney. I was wondering why your brother had the game system and you didn't. I'm glad that you're starting to come around and embrace your skills.'
Courtney chuckled as she read on, deep down glad at what had happened between the two of them. Off in the distance, she heard her brother yelling at something.
