"Okay." Bri replied back to him. "How about we swap friends and you can prove it to me." Josh waited for a moment to think about what would happen.
"Why do you want to do that?" He wondered to make sure that their wasn't a hidden agenda that she had on her mind. Bri certainly didn't give a tell about any agenda, that Josh could see.
"Honestly..." She started to say as she looked Josh in the eyes. "I just wanted some older friends and see how they are." Bri always seemed grown up and never really fit in with her friends. Whenever Josh saw them together, she always seemed to be a little bored and a little stand offish. Remembering back, he remembered her being this way since their father passed away last year from a car accident.
"You know what..." Josh replied back to her. "I think it will be fine, but I don't want to be in the 3rd grade." He watched as Bri's eyes grew 3 sizes with joy.
"Okay, deal." She accepted as they were soon blinded by the light once more. As the light diminished, both Josh and Bri wiped their eyes to help alleviate some of the spots that came with the bright flash. She looked over at Josh with her longer hair on his head and wondered. "Did it work?"
Josh logged onto his Facebook account to see if it worked. Looking at the pictures, Josh heard Bri laughing when the pictures of when she was invited to go to the Beach earlier that month with some of her friends. Instead of Bri standing with her friends. Josh now stood in her place and was over a foot taller than the other girls. "I guess it worked after all."
Josh looked over at Bri and saw her smile, knowing that he was finally able to help her out, he felt happy. "You're so much taller than Emily and Jenna." She chuckled as she saw the picture once more. "Oooo... Do you want to swap heights too?"
"Umm... I don't think I'm ready for that." Josh replied as he backed away slightly, trying to distance himself from the suggestion. "Maybe later on." He didn't really know if Bri's smile couldn't get any bigger, but it certainly did when he told her that. They looked at more pictures when they heard a knock on the front door.
After a couple minutes, their Mom came into the room. "There you are." She said with a slight frown on her face. "_______ is here looking for you, ______."
