Once again, you wait at your door, leaving it open just a sliver, so you can hear what your parents are discussing just a few meters away at the dining room table. Your mother is the first to speak.
"I am worried we will not make it there, I was told that it was going to be a dangerous journey", she exclaims, her voice full of worry and dread.
"No, do not worry. We will be fine. The kids will be fine, and we will make it to Switzerland alive. We can start a new life there, I know how much you have always wanted to become a shoe maker, and own your own store", your father replies.
"I suppose so", your mother replies back with a sigh.
"Now, let us go pack. We will think of things tomorrow, when we are getting ready to leave".
Your mother and father leave the table, heading to their shared room with your sister.
"Maybe I should start packing as well", you think to yourself.
Later, as you are packing, you come across a pocket knife. Do you decide to pack in the pocketknife, or leave it?
