The pressure of the foot is lifted off of you, finally. This night might finally get better. Looking around the dark cave of your friends shoe it seemed to big. Or you were just so small. Your most recent shrinkage left you feeling even more useless, and pitiful. What were you going to do now? You were lost to the world, if Yukiko even remembered you it would be a miracle, let alone if she could see you.
As the thought entered your head, the shoe was lifted up. You felt the ground beneath you slip away as gravity took over and the shoe was tilted by its giant host. Falling out of the shoe the light blinded you for a second while you fell through the air, only to be stopped on a padded surface. Your vision coming back to you slowly, you saw the light blocked out by a giant shadow, a slowly it faded into view.
The giant face of Yukiko was above you, making up your entire sky. Her nearly flawless features expanded by so much. But she was looking at you with a frown.
"You got smaller" She whispered, sadness in her voice. "How could you be smaller?"
You were speechless, unable to think of anything to respond to, but she wouldn't hear you anyway. You were so small and useless now, your friend was like a goddess to you, she was your caretaker, your world, everything. You needed her, but if she wanted, she could just throw you away.
"We need to figure out what to do about this", she said.
