To your shock and surprise, the shrine where the priestess was supposed to be was in complete ruins. It seemed as if it was burned, probably few days ago as there were no scorching embers anywhere. Among the debris however, you could see some movement...
"Dangit... I told the two of ya that we hafta come 'ere sooner! No loot left 'ere!" Said a female voice
"You'd rather be caught by the Empire's legion, or the humans, nya?" Said a second feminine voice, making a distinct meow at the end... making you almost sure that it was a catgirl
"I ain't seen any since Flame Division came through 'ere. The two of ya are jus' paranoid." Replied the first voice
Flame Division? Could they be the ones responsible for burning the shrine? Their name surely would suggest that
"Speaking of Flame Division. I wonder what did they do to that priestess who lived here, nya?" Said the voice that sounded like a catgirl
"I reckon they gonna have sum fun with 'er. T'was a big enemy of the Empire that bitch." Said the first voice again, hearing the great priestess called a bitch, made your blood boil, but you stayed quiet and kept listening in...
"Quiet you two! Less talking, more searching!" A new, stern-sounding voice suddenly spoke
The other two then seemingly went back to looting what remained of the shrine. There seemed to be at least three looters then, presumably all being monster girls. Your chances didn't seem too good in direct confrontation there, especially considering you still had no clue what species they all were exactly...
Bad luck however decides to strike you at the worst possible moment however, because just as you stand in front of the burnt shrine, one of the thieves accidentally causes a part of scorched wall to collapse, which was the only thing keeping her from seeing you. The girl quickly looks up, she has slightly-below-shoulder length brown hair, and from her dog-like features, you are able to quickly realize that she is probably a kobold!(Think less of a MGE kobold, and more of Polt from Monster Musume, since her feet are more human-like).
"Oi, we were 'ere first maggot! Get outta 'ere!" She says, from her thick accent you quickly realize she was the first of the voices you heard before
Hearing her however, the other two also come to look, and so, you soon see them emerging form the ruins on your left and right sides. One on the right is a catgirl, just as you suspected, she has averagely long brown hair, and a tanned skin, with a playful smirk that gives you a feeling she might be a bit of a trickster. One on the left looks tallest of the three, and has long blonde hair, judging from the stripes on her tail and ears, as well as the claws, she is probably a tiger girl, her expression is a rather serious one...
"Oh, looks like we have a human here, nya... I didn't have my feet pampered properly ever since we deserted. Say, if you kneel down and worship my feet, I might share some of the treasure with you." Said the catgirl, raising her leg, currently covered by a shoe, as if to tease you
"We ain't sharin' no treasure just 'cause your sweaty feets get sum lickin'!" Said the kobold girl
"I am not interested in any treasure, I am looking for the priestess from this shrine." You said, deciding to make it clear you don't want trouble... even if you were disgusted when seeing what's left of respected priestess' shrine being robbed like that
"That's even better nya! We can show you where she was taken... if you convince us of course, nya..." Said the catgirl, obviously meaning worshipping her feet again
"Oi! If you're gonna get yer feet pampered, then I wanna get mine pampered too!" Said the kobold girl, pointing at her feet which were covered only by sandals, giving you a nice view of their tops, aside from claw-like toenails and little bit of fur covering them, they were pretty much shaped just like human feet.
"I don't want to touch your feet at all!" You said
"You pamper us, or we beat you up." The tiger girl suddenly says on your left, she seems like a person of few words, and to your bad luck it seems like she also wants her feet worshipped
"Ya, wot she said'!" The kobold girl confirmed the tiger girl's words
"Nyaaa... seems like those two won't let you go now human." Said the catgirl, and you seen her remove one of her shoes, revealing her beautiful looking pale foot, covered by a toeless sock, which gave you a nice view of her toes, with slightly claw-like shaped toenails(But not as claw-like as the kobold's).
"Why don't you just start and get this over with quicker, nya?" The catgirl said teasingly, sitting on a piece of the stairs that somehow held together when the shrine burnt, and extended her foot towards you... wiggling her toes invitingly.
