"Finally those idiots have fallen asleep" Margaret said to herself. She walked in.
Normally she wouldn't care much for what Summer was doing, but she heard that apparently that dork got her hands on some amazing find. If she had something this great just lying around, she would be taking it for herself, thank you very much.
With that diamond, she could undo all her humiliating history with Summer. Rather than being in a life debt to some bookworm, she could have her self-respect back and be free, just like it was before.
"Hmm but what should I wish for...I know! I want an universe where I'm the better of Summer in every way. And whenever we meet, I'm the one in charge."
The diamond glowed...
---
"Bye kids! Obey your babysitter!"
Eh? Who were these talking to? Were these Summer's parents? And why was she still in Summer's house?
The Salt parents waved goodbye and Margaret turned around and oh god this was all kinds of wrong.
The Jamie, Chris and Summer that ran into the room were the same she remembered save for one thing, they were all the wrong age. They looked about the same age as that annoying sister of Summer's - who, she now noticed, dozed harmlessly on the bed some way away, having de-aged just as much as her sister.
"I did not wish for this! Summer, were you the one who set this up?"
The kid who looked like Summer stick a tongue at her.
Oh what am I doing, I'm expecting answers from a kid, M. thought.
That diamond! It had to be still here, she only had to find it again.
"Leave me alone! Damn, I hate kids."
One of them managed to trip her.
"Aw yeah! We got her! Get her feet!"
"Get off you little brats."
