Mary didn't mind switching bodies with someone else, but not with someone of her family. She wanted to swap with one of her friends, and to be more specific:

- Amber Hearts. Best friends with Mary. At school they are always seen together. While Mary is considered petite Amber on the other hand is large. Probably because of the snacks she likes to eat when she watches her favorite anime with Mary.

- Jesse Lambert: a good friend of Mary. Jesse is the sweetheart of the class as she always looks out for other people. In this case she noticed Mary alone one day when Amber was a day sick. They had a connection and stayed in contact. Though Mary doesn't speak to Jesse in class too much as Jesse is mostly surrounded by her own friends.
