"There's a mirror right over there." The doctor pointed to one of the corners that had a mirror leaning up against the wall. "I brought it in for everyone to get a look at themselves." He said chuckling as he got the chambers ready for the next set of individuals. Josh and Naomi nodded as they mad their way over to the mirror. It was then that Josh was able to get a good view of Naomi and noticed that her eyes seemed to have changed to match Josh's more European ancestry.
"I think I know what else was swapped." Josh said to Naomi as he brought his hands up to his face and felt his eyes.
"Yeah, I noticed that earlier, but I was wanting to see if you noticed." Naomi chuckled as she followed Josh over to the mirror. "Wow, I look different."
"You? We both look different." Josh pointed out as he leaned closer to the mirror. "Wow is certainly right." He thought about the other thoughts that were transferred over. It the thoughts there were memories In these memories, he looked down and saw himself dressed in a kimono and a pair of sandals on his feet. Josh looked around and noticed that there were old stone buildings and he was much smaller and holding the hand of an older lady. He instinctively knew what memory it was. 'It must be when I, I mean Naomi, went to Japan with her parents when she was younger.' He thought to himself. He turned around to the doctor, who seemed to be done with his machine and looked over to them with a smile. "So what do we do now? Go into a waiting room or something?"
The doctor chuckled at the thought. "No my dear boy, you will head back out and send the next group in here." He said as he gestured towards the main area.
"Will they notice anything different about us?" Naomi asked him with a sense of wonder in her voice.
"They will see that nothing is different. They will see you as Josh and him as you." He answered her. "They will know that you are each other only because they saw you come in here together. To the world, nothing will have changed."
"So do you have a suggestion on who you want in here next?" Naomi wondered as she started to make her way over to the door leading to the area where the others were sitting. "Oh and when can we expect the extra money?"
The doctor chuckled slightly as he heard this. "They money will be sent out tomorrow and they will have to make the decision."
Josh and Naomi both nodded as they made their way back out to the floor and they couldn't help but notice how much things seemed to be with the change of height. "This is going to be an interesting week." Naomi said as she held the door open for Josh.
