Sarah had her clipboard as she was doing her daily walks of the halls to ensure that all her guests were happy and had everything that they wanted. However, she really had other intentions. Dr. Moriarty asked her to check out a room that seemed to be not up to par with the standards that he liked to keep in place. But this also gave her the chance to check out her new employee. Going up to the 3rd floor and the western wing, Sarah soon found the problem with the room and made a request of maintenance to come up and fix it. It turned out that one of the pipes wasn't properly installed. "I think we will need to hire some new contractors next time." Sarah said to herself as she wrote it down on her clipboard. "Right, so the next stop will be..." She followed her finger down the page until she was able to find what she was looking for. "Oh here it is, 2nd floor, Eastern wing." Sarah let out a sigh as she knew that she was in for a workout.
A knock was heard on the door and Steven went to answer it. "Yes?" Steven asked as he answered the door. "Oh, hello." He noticed a lovely lady with shoulder length blonde hair and deep green eyes. 'She is definitely cute.' Steven thought to himself as he eyed her.
Sarah smiled as she introduced herself. "Hello sir, I'm Sarah and I'm the housekeeping manager." She looked behind Steven to see if everything was in order. "I'm just wondering if everything is in order or if you need anything. We try to ensure that all of our guests are comfortable and happy while they are here."
Steven cocked an eye as he looked at her. "That sounded rehearsed, do you practice that phrase and how would you like to go for a drink later on?" He stopped suddenly as he didn't really know what was coming out of his mouth.
"Well." She answered with her hands on her hips. "That was kind of straight forward. First, I would love to have a drink with you later on tonight, but I need to work the rest of my shift. And secondly, I practice it everyday before I start my shift." Steven was shocked at what he just said and the answer that he received. "Are you shocked at how you just said what came to mind?" Steven nodded and Sarah chuckled. "You can just say I have that affect on people. I'm glad everything is up to your standards and I hope to see you later on."
"But where do you want to meet and how will I find you again?" Steven wondered to her.
"Don't worry about that, I will find you." She said with a wink as she bowed slightly and left for the moment to make her way back down stairs.
As Steven closed the door, Josh made his way out of the bathroom. "Who was that?" He wondered to his temporary roommate.
"The housekeeping manager was just wondering if everything was okay." Steven said smiling.
"Oh?" Josh replied back with shit eating grin on his face. "Is that all she said?"
"Well..." Steven blushed slightly. "I'm meeting her later on for a drink."
"Congrats." Josh patted him on the back. "But you don't drink." He made sure to point out to him.
"I think I will make an exception for her." He quickly replied back with a wink.
