After signing in and getting four rooms on the second floor, all next to each other, the Wilkos group decided to explore the hotel a little more. Most of them were impressed with it's size and elegance. It was more like a stately home in some places. "Wow, this is luxurious." Elizabeth gasped, looking around.
"Better than any place I've been in." Liz nodded in agreement as she got her lip salve out of her purse and put some on her lips to prevent dryness.
Elizabeth then glanced back. "Liam, can you at least look like you're enjoying yourself. There were many others who would have loved to come on this trip." she said to Liam, who was trailing behind, dragging his feet almost.
"You entering a fashion show or something?" Darrell quipped to Alexa, as she topped up her lipstick.
"Hey, nothing wrong with looking stunning okay!" Alexa flashed a sarcastic smile at Darrell.
More like prissy. Becca thought, as she walked behind Steven and Josh, admiring the detailed plastering on the walls. Becca wasn't overly impressed with the hotel so far either. She would have preferred a more 'gothic' appearance to the place, like the old Mediaeval cathedrals.
"What do you two think?" Elizabeth asked Josh and Steven, who were chatting amongst themselves.
"It's nice, I like it." Steven nodded, straightening his glasses and looking up at the ceiling.
"Not bad at all." Josh threw in his two cents worth.

A short time later, the eight co-workers arrived at their rooms, which they had to share. Elizabeth and Liz had one room, Becca (much to her chagrin) had to share with Alexa, Steven and Josh shared another room, and Darrell had the misfortune to end up as Liam's roomie.
"We'll meet downstairs in a bit for a drink, okay guys?" Elizabeth called out to everyone, before they disappeared into their expansive rooms. There were two beds in each room of course, and most of the decor and furniture was white and beige. "Even the sheets are posh." Liz giggled, as she slumped herself down on one of the beds in the corner of the room.
"They certainly spared no expense." Elizabeth smiled, looking around some more.
They were completely unaware of the fact that they were being observed on a hidden CCTV camera in their room. Moriarty flicked from camera to camera, until he came to the one in Elizabeth and Liz's room. He watched as Elizabeth removed her cardigan and hung it on a chair, then she went into the bathroom to freshen up.
Liz for her part got her phone out and started to send a text back home to her husband Eric, to tell him she'd arrived safe.
Moriarty continued to make his plans even as the eight store workers got settled in...
