Continue her daily life with her occupant.

The woman continued her daily life, and her belly continued to grow. On the 9th day, at sometime in the afternoon, she felt the prelging in her stomach starting to move out of her womb. She quickly ran out into her bathroom and stripped, just in time for the prelging to be birthed. The prelging came out and was accompanied by quite a lot of green slime. The newborn prelging looked just like the woman, but slightly smaller. The prelging explained to the woman that members of its race come out looking similar to whoever's womb they were in. The prelging also told the woman to keep the green slime in a bathtub and periodically let the prelging swim around in it and eat it, as human food did not provide enough nourishment to the prelging.

After about a month or so, the prelging, who now looked like the woman, but was slightly taller and more alien-looking, announced that there were two ways that it could create copies of itself to continue the survival of its race. First, it could impregnate the woman with copies of itself, or it could turn into a slime and possess the woman and have the woman produce copies of the prelging.

What does the prelging do to create more copies of itself?
