Catria honors her promise with her sisters

Even though Catria could feel the gazes of everyone else there, in fact multiple gazes from each of her sisters, she kept her cool as she stated, "I promised I would use it if my sisters did, didn't I?" After waiting for her older sister to slither down the steps and move off to the side, the bluenette ascended to the Altar and got onto her knees without the slightest hesitation. Bowing her head and closing her eyes, she prayed, "Oh Skylord of the olden gods, please listen to my prayer. If you find me worthy, please grant me your power."

To nobody's surprise, a familiar glow surrounded the pedestal, neither as bright as the one that engulfed Palla nor as small as the one the transformed Est. Surrendering herself to the sensation of her body changing, time passed quickly for Catria until her new form had been completed. When the glow dissipated, yet another hybrid of a lamia and a hydra was left behind on the Altar, this time featuring deep blue scales on the snake parts of her body. It seemed as if the Altar was aware of her relative age compared to Palla and Est, as the blue-haired sister found she had five upper bodies attached to her snake tail, the perfect average between Palla's seven and Est's three.

After taking a bit of time to adjust to having five points of view, Catria addressed her sisters, trading words between her mouths, "Well sisters, we are in this together now." It was clear that among the three, she seemed to adapt the most naturally to her new form.

"I must say, it's interesting how we each have different-colored scales," Palla mused aloud.

"I know, right? They even kind of match our hair!" Est exclaimed.

Celica spoke up, "I find it a bit odd that you each have a different number of... Torsos? Necks? Not sure what the proper term here is..."

"Could it be related to their ages?" Mae offered.

"Seems to be as good as guess as any," Faye replied.

Meanwhile, Emma stood a little ways away from the staircase leading up to the platform, ignoring the chatter of her companions while she was lost in thought. She had witnessed all four of the other Falcon Knights get transformed by the Altar, but still couldn't make a conclusive decision in favor of or against using it herself. As she looked around at the other Deliverance members, her gaze fell upon Shade, who was looking right back at her. Emma could see in her eyes that she understood what was passing through the last Falcon Knight's mind. In response to her junior's questioning gaze, Shade merely smiled back at her.

Seeing this, Emma makes a choice...
