"I suppose it is," Catria replied to her sister with a nod. "After you then."
"Very well, I'll be back," Palla said calmly before walking towards the stairs and ascending to the Altar. Kneeling the same way her fellow Falcon Knights had, the green-haired woman inclined her head and prayed silently.
"O Ancient Skylord, heed my prayer... If thou wouldst find me deserving, please grant my thy strength!"
Once again responding to the supplications of a Falcon Knight, the Altar shone with vast amounts of golden light, engulfing the sight of Palla. Gradually her form changed, her legs fusing together into a single tube that rapidly began thickening and elongating, growing many feet in length. Additionally, Palla's skin below the hips shifted and became hard scales, a dark green color as opposed to her youngest sister's reddish-pink. Once her tail finished growing, the next phase started as her body began to split into three, pulling apart as far as ten feet along her tail, each section regrowing what was lost such that Palla now had three snake necks ending in human torsos.
However, the light did not fade yet, and her transformation continued while the other Deliverance members were incapable of watching. The greenette's left and right torsos began to form a crease down their centers, splitting apart into two halves that rapidly reformed into full torsos with the appropriate amount of snake body to go with them. Now at five upper bodies, the transformation persisted, splitting the torsos and necks at either far end one last time, subdividing and reforming such that Palla had a total of 7 upper bodies attached to her massive snake tail. Finally the light relented as the energy faded, leaving a surprised new member of the hydra race.
Est was the first to speak up, loudly voicing some discontent, "Muuuu! Why'd you get so many more bodies than me?"
"Eh??" was all that Palla could muster for a reply, the explanation echoing seven times over. Hearing the sound of her voice overlapping, her eyes went wide as she quickly understood what happened. Turning to look at herself from all sorts of directions, the eldest sister was able to clearly see her new form. In comparison to Est, she noticed that her main snake body was significantly longer and thicker, probably to account for having over twice as many "necks" attached to it. Furthermore, said necks were about two or three feet longer as well, likely to give them more movement range so they wouldn't be packed together so tightly.
"Well..." Palla said, trying to focus on talking with just her middle head, "I had considered that I might turn into the same creature as you since we're family, but this is quite a bit more than I expected."
"Indeed," Shade quipped, "this lends some credence to our theory of these changes being related to bloodline." Looking over towards the last unchanged sister, she added, "Were Catria to use it and experience a similar transformation, I believe that would all but solidify it."
With those words, the attention fell upon the unaltered bluenette, her companions looking at her expectantly to see if she would follow her sisters into monster-girlhood.
